There are few Indonesian actors and actress who has international careers, and some of them are:

Her father is German and her mother is Indonesian. she has starred in several TV series, movies and endorsed several local and international brands. Since the start of her career, she had won several awards for acting and singing, two of which are from the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Indonesia. Her first album sold over a million copies from sales in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunnei.
While her career continues to rise, Kiehl also graduated from the Jakarta International School with honors and is attending Columbia University New York for her undergraduate studies. Aside from her professional and academic life, Kiehl also holds a charity foundation called the Soekarseno Peduli, aimed at rebuilding dilapidated schools in Bogor, Indonesia. The foundation has cooperated with several multinational companies and NGO's, aiding more than 4000 children since 2003. Recently, she has been cast in a Hollywood movie called "The Philosophers", making her debut appearance in an international movie. International careers:

Actor/Model/Stuntman Yoshua "Yoshi" Sudarso was born in Indonesia and moved to Los Angeles at the age of nine. He and his brother, Actor/Model Peter Adrian Sudarso, developed a fanbase through social media by creating YouTube videos, doing fashion blogging, and cosplay. He has done commercial work for Samsung and Sony and stunt work for multiple films including The Maze Runner. Began his career from 'Merantau' same with Yayan, well known since played The Raid 1 & 2. Iko Uwais was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, to Maisyaroh and Mustapha Kamaluddin. His grandfather, H. Achmad Bunawar, was a master of silat, an Indonesian traditional martial art, and founded a silat school. Iko himself has been learning silat since he was 10 years old. He became National Champion in 2005 in Silat Demonstration category. Iko's talent as a martial arts actor was discovered by Welsh film Director, Gareth Evans, who visited Iko's Silat school for a documentary in 2007. Evans then asked Iko to quit his daytime job as a driver in a telecommunications company and join Evans' movie production company as the leading actor in his movies. (Source) International careers:

He is a respected Pencak Silat trainer who toured Europe and was one of the Pencak Silat fighters documented by European Pencak Silat website Saudara Kaum (France). He has a proficiency in the school of Silat Cimande and Panglipur Garut. On an interview with the Indonesian media, he said that he is 41 years old and has a kid, who disagrees with him playing an antagonist in The Raid 2. He also idolized Bruce Lee as a child and had many Bruce Lee posters in his room. Besides acting and teaching Silat, he is a primary school English teacher. Well known after played The Raid 2.
